This means to offer something useful, or provide something that is of benefit (to a project, organization, meeting, company etc)

“Jack brings a great deal of knowledge to the table.”

“You have to bring definite suggestions to the table.”

  1. SHOESTRING BUDGET

This is a very small sum of money or capital that is barely adequate.

“We started this company on a shoestring budget”

We can also say – “ON A SHOESTRING”

“We had to deliver the project on a shoestring”

  1. JUMP THROUGH HOOPS

This is a common expression, which means to do anything necessary to please someone. We often use it to say we have to try many different tactics to get what we want.

“The company is jumping through hoops these days to try to please advertisers”

  1. PUSH THE ENVELOPE

This is a popular phrase, which means to exceed the limits of what is normally done. To be innovative.

“To make an impact in this industry we really need to push the envelope”

“Steve Jobs really pushed the envelope when he invented the iPhone”

So there are 4 useful business expressions that will help you to communicate at a higher level in English.
